We've had our king bed for 15 or 20 years and are happy with it. Customer service however is another story.

I've had to wait anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour or so for someone to speak with to purchase replacement edge foam for our mattress and then go through the arduous process of creating a customer file which they somehow could not find. A week ago after enduring the interminable waits at least two times (not including the times I gave up and hung up), I ordered the foam and was told I would see it in 7 to 10 business days and that I could follow the shipment with the tracking number. After a week, there is no number posted and I am not waiting around again to find out why. Secondly, a few years after purchase we tried to get replacement controls four ours as the LCD readouts were shot.

I was told that I'd have to replace the compressor and that with consideration for the remaining warranty it would only cost $172.00. What?! I just need the LCD's replaced not the whole compressor system. We opted to forgo the numbers and have done quite well.

Again, the bed is fine, the attention to customer service is atrocious. Buy the bed but abandon hope of service after the purchase.

Good afternoon, I chatted with and spoke to one of your sales reps online on 4/17/25 and subsequently ended up ordering a Sleep Number King i8 with premium delivery on 4/17/25. This delivery is supposed to come with inspection, activation, setup, and demonstration of the bed. When the delivery men arrived on 4/25, the app was not working, so I called your CS line. The lady stated that because I had an account for my mom's bed as well, we would have to create another account with a different email so I did that. Your computers still would not recognize me. During this time on the phone with customer service, the two delivery drivers said they needed to leave and could not stay to set up. I relayed this to the CSR and she said they had to stay because that is part of the purchase. She called dispatch and they also told her that they needed to leave to deliver another bed but could come back another time. Mind you, they came to my house late, so I don't know why it was imperative that they get to the next one on time. The CSR stated that she would escalate this to a supervisor because it was unacceptable but that would take up to seven days so in the meantime I could just use the link on the app that says 'adjust without app.' By 5 May, I still had heard nothing and still could not use my app so I contacted customer service again on 6 May. This time, I did it via chat so that I could have the conversation in writing. After 30 minutes chatting with the rep and her still being unable to locate my account or why there was an issue, she asked if I wanted to pay the $190 fee to have a technician come to my house and assist. I told her that she had some audacity to ask me if I wanted to pay for somebody to come to my house and do what I already paid for them to do when I bought this mattress. She said I could call customer service, that she could not waive the fee so I called. I spoke with a woman on the phone who was able to at least get the app set up on my phone. However, when I went to get in my bed, it would not connect the bed to the app. I did everything I possibly could to get it to connect. So before I sit on yet another call with your customer service reps, I would like an appointment scheduled for a technician to come out to my home, ensure the bed is set up properly as paid for and show me everything they are supposed to with premium delivery. I will not pay for someone to come to my home because all of this is part of the premium delivery that I paid to have and never received. I spent entirely too much money on a mattress that has come with nothing but problems and horrible customer service. If you cannot make good on the contract that we both agreed to when I bought the bed, then you can come pick it up and I will just get my money back. I would much rather spend my money elsewhere and get the service I paid for and with a company that stands behind their name.

Worst waste of $6,000 imaginable

We ended up being redirected once again to Sleep Number Customer No-Service, which acknowledged that an air chamber needed replacement, and then ghosting me. Repeated attempts over the past few years have failed to resolve the issue.

We still have half a bed, which means my wife and I can't sleep together. IMHO Sleep Number stands for "Counting the money these stupid consumers give to us, for a promise of better sleep which we can not fulfill".

Rating Sleep Number customer service disappointing is generous, to say the least. After purchasing a $6,000+ 360 P6 smart airbed in Nay 2022, an air chamber failed in less than six months.
The Store Manager had already told me to pound sand because I did not want to spend half my waking time being a rewards member.
Many calls and chats (as recently as last week) to Customer No-Service confirmed the problem.

Each time. I was promised a replacement that never materialized. When I inquired about the replacement, I was told to get lost.
This is the absolutely worst waste of $6,000+ imaginable. The Sleep Number bed is so useless, we will have to purchase yet another bed and put this bed out on the curb,
If you like air beds.

get a Coleman camp bed. It last much longer and Coleman actually stands behind its products.

I made an appointment for a tech to come to my house to see what was wrong with my bed. My time window was 12:30-3:30 I was charged for the appointment before they would book it.

Well, guess what no one showed up. I called Sleep Number several times today- I was assured they would be here. I got my first message at 9:30-they are on their way. I have waited all day for a no show and now I have to drive for 3 hours.

I will never buy another sleep number bed. How am I supposed to get my bed fixed if Sleep number doesn't furnish the support they promise?

It did not.

Better understand their product and its capabilities and shortcomings BE CAREFUL. Don't expect all the chat bots to understand your questions.

Mattress Pumps Defect

Mattress pump doesnt work, when lying down it doesnt work anymore, one side of the mattress has to hold the mattress down to keep the mattress stable while adjusting it.

Lousy sleep number sheets

We have purchased at least four sets of sheets from sleep number directly. Two of the sets of sheets have shredded.

I could send you pictures. The company should be ashamed that theyre producing such expensive poor quality sheets.

It doesnt match sleep number beds and their reputation I have heard nothing from the company and dont expect to. Very disappointing.

Wasn't told the 15-year warranty is prorated after the first year; you pay an additional 5% every year after the first for warranty issues, plus shipping. Will never buy from them again.

4 Delivery Reschedules and Still NO Bed Yet

Purchased a Sleep Number bed on 12/27/2024 (paid in full at that time). Sleep Number has rescheduled the delivery of the bed four times for various reasons.

Their customer service is horrible.

The next delivery date is 3/11/2025. I would recommend that you do not purchase a bed from this company; they don't care about their customers.

I purchased a sleep number bed in 2016. Ten year warranty.

2022 my pump failed. I would have to pay $500 for a new one, plus pay for a tech to come out. I'm now getting rid of it 8 years in, to find out they set the bed up wrong in 2016. I've been sleeping on it WRONG.

The pillow part was on the bottom.

My hoses were on top. DO NOT BUY A SLEEP NUMBER BED!!!

Replacement pump defective

My pump was damaged in a flood from Hurricane Helene. I bought a replacement for $218 from Sleep Number, and all it did was let all the air out of the bed.

I had an online chat with Jason V and told him that this pump was a replacement purchased within 30 days and did not work. He told me I had to buy another one at the 'special price' of $218.

I have managed to use a small electric camping-style pump to get air back in the bed, but now I just want my money back. Apparently, this won't be easy, and it was clear that Jason wasn't listening or had orders to extract more money from me.

I ordered a new pump for my bed as recommended. When service came out to install it it was broken so they told me they would order another one and notify me when it came in so I could schedule another appt for installation and I would receive an immediate email summarizing status,

However I have received nothing.

Dont know if the part was ordered or when they are coming back to install.

And I Tired of. Being without a bed, please help
